Welcome to the Kindle forum. As of now, there are no separate rules here. Anyone can post. Anyone can promote. There is no time scale rule between posting promotions; just be considerate and support one another.

Hi Everyone!

I was invited here by Shelagh (waves at her). I am a
38 year old writer from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. I have published two
books, two short stories and a short autobiography. Happy to be here! Smile

If you're interested in my novella, Leaves of the Fall, check it out here:

http://www.amazon.com/Leaves-of-the-Fall-ebook/dp/B0052XQL7Q

Rose suspects her husband is being unfaithful - again. That's not her only problem - she isn't so sure a dear friend actually died in an accident as
reported. She is driven to learn the truth, but will it change a lot more than she could have imagined?

I also have a book of poetry, Lost & Found:

http://www.amazon.com/Lost-Found-ebook/dp/B0051EZDZ2

I wrote these poems over the course of 13 years, during a time of great
strife and emotional distress in my life. I am a recovering alcoholic,
and bipolar, as well as a sufferer of fibromyalgia- the poems mark the
lowest, but poignant parts of my soul, but there is a subtle optimism as
well, a hope for a better tomorrow. During those years, I was married,
was a battered woman, was divorced, a single mom, a full and part time
college student, both undergrad and postgrad. I think back on it now and
am glad I went through what I did, for it made me who I am today and
that's a positive.

Hello

I'm a relocated South African, now based in the US.

I have some rather different books. One, for instance, is a homage to old school high adventure novels: The Depths of Deception: http://www.amazon.com/The-Depths-of-Deception-ebook/dp/B004RPVVTI

Another is a 650 page acid-drenched Tolkien meets Terry Pratchett work - 'Fairyland and the Revolution.' http://www.amazon.com/Fairyland-and-the-Revolution-ebook/dp/B0055SXWLG

Or for sheer evil, shame, mayhem and vile naughtiness, my onetime Penguin-published memoir of a life under Apartheid: 'My Own Private Orchestra': http://www.amazon.com/My-Own-Private-Orchestra-ebook/dp/B0052ZRERU

That's quite a collection, Al! I downloaded a sample of the ventriloquism book some time ago. I'll download a few more samples.

Hi Violet,

If you look at the number of replies, it is twelve, but the number of views is 82 (probably more than that by the time you view this thread again!).
