How do these bookmark files actually turn into paper bookmarks? I see these all over the Internet, but I'll confess I'm quite clueless since these don't appear to be files for printers (commercial printers).

Hi Malcolm,

Here's one example:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

To print your own, set the margins to zero and the layout to "landscape" in a word document and select "center" before you insert the jpeg file. Copy and paste this image across the page. Prepare the back in the same way. Print the pages, back-to-back and use a razor blade and metal rule or paper guillotine to cut out the bookmarks.

I've uploaded two word documents onto docstoc:

Front bookmarks:

Back bookmarks:

I will be sending out jpg files to all the contributors and word document, ready-to-print files.

Thanks for the printing instructions.

It's a really nice bookmark.

This is fantastic, Shelagh! I was going to ask you about copying the bookmark. I sold a second book over the weekend, and now I'll be able to give out matching bookmarks.
