Sorry for the loss. Every little bit of love in this world is a gift, whether given or received.

Ah Dick, I'm sorry to read that you've lost little Sophie. In addition to the light she brought to your life, we got to see that tender side of you when you wrote about her. We know people in the outside world see your toughness and know little else, but we know the truth in here.
Best wishes to you and Jackie now and always.

I know you said that you wouldn't do it again, but you will make another trip to the pet shop, won't you? You both have too much love not to share it.

Dick.

Get a tedy bear hamster They are fuffy, have no tail and are long-lived.

For days after our Chuckie passed on, Dan, who is now 6'8", would make me go into his room to talk about Chuckie.

The loss is very real and devastating.

I wish they had the life-span of a turtle, obviously I am not in charge here.

Marie,

I love that vision. You are going to make Dick want to be in heaven.
