How many are under the impression that the WWW was an American invention?

Strange, but I just read about that elsewhere. Americans do tend to think everything is invented here.

Within ten years, the people of the world will be sitting in front of a computer...on the WWW, receiving the days instructions from Obama.

As for me, I will be sitting in a cave in the high desert, reading something, that if caught, I will be shot for reading...a book.
