I just tried it out tonight and called my mom. The clarity was far better than skype and much easier to do. I use a head set to speak but listen on my computer speakers. I really like gmail. It has great word processing aps, forms, etc. that save me a lot of time and are quite useful. gmail is free like yahoo or others but with far more "stuff" ...
