| hi I'm new here. Enid from Sydney, Australia. I published my futuristic erotica In Quest of Theta Magic recently. Press here to check out the ebook.Press here to read the book review at San Diego ExaminerHere is the blurb: Dean Williams has no need for love, but he does needs a wife, fast, since only his quest for Theta magic can save his sister. But who could be courageous and tough enough to endure what he needs to demand from his new wife? Should he settle for the fiery and lustfully arousing Elana Bailey who offers herself in her sister’s place? Elana is determined to brave the ugly beast in order to save her fragile sister. But she doesn’t expect to be shot at right after the wedding, or to find that the only reason for the match is to create a daughter to help Dean with his quest. What if she bears a son instead? Will they succeed in the quest? And will Elana be able to satiate Dean’s seemingly licentious nature?
I'd love to hear your comment about the book or if you have any suggestion for marketing

| Hi Enid, Good to see you here! Good luck with the book! Oh, and marketing isn't easy ... in fact, it's tough. Check out this blog post for information about an Australian e-book marketer: http://www.visualartsjunction.com/?p=482 |

| Hi Zada and Shelagh I've been a bit lost in keeping up with all the new sites I joined since the book published that I haven't checked back here for a while. Just to update my "challenging" book marketing experience so far: Since the positive review by San Diego Examiner, I got another 2 positive reviews on Amazon. Not much sales on Amazon yet but I've been doing well at lulu with the ebook sale, though the sales ranking does not move with ebook sales, so I'm forever 48,000+ I was accepted by the National Examiner for an author interview but the lady hasn't published it yet. I'm keeping my fingers' crossed. I got 3 other book review sites agreeing to review the book too, but at their own time. So far two Australian online stores have listed my book as well. The major highlight was interviewed by Monica Hesse of Washington Post, about Pride and Prejudice fan fiction. She was writing a review for P&P and Zombie and said she liked my Martian Darcy story (which I have submitted to a traditional publisher, end of May consideration will end and I will consider to self-publish it then). Unfortunately she didn't include my interview in her article. Well you win some and you lose some every day. It's good there is forum like this to let us share our news, good or bad. |

| Hi Enid, Did you click on the link I added to my last post? Here's the start of the blog post: "Joanna Penn, British author, speaker and business consultant based in Australia, is the founder of The Creative Penn, a rich resource for web authors. But it is her one-stop brainchild, Author 2.0, that sets her site apart." Just a tip about using the 'net: If you show a great deal of interest in other authors, writers, people in the publishing world, they will slowly start to show an interest in you. There are hundreds of thousands of books on the 'net, which hopeful authors are trying to promote. It is as tough a business as you could possibly be in. Hard work does not always pay off but without it, your book will sink without trace.

| Yes, I did Shelagh but I admit I didn't understand what it was. Is it a softare or a book teaching us how to market our books?
If it is a book, I have been reading a lot about how to market a book. The time is the issue... |
