| I live one day at a time. Here in Europe my day is almost over, and assuming nothing happens in the next several hours, I will have made it another day.
When my time comes, there is nothing I can do or say to change it. I plan to enjoy tomorrow if/when I look into the mirror and that customary face is still looking at me. Afterwards, I will have some breakfast and then check this forum to see if my friends are all here.

| Average lifespan for an elf is 1024 years ... and I am only 14.
I plan to see quite a few more moonrises.
ps - and if I figure out the whole wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff ... I may never leave.

| I'm with you, JoElle, optimistic as always, or pessimistic if you look at the other way. I think 150 years will be about all I care for. I have already seen much history, and if I live too long, I would be walking around slack jawed, I fear.

With all the endorphins mushing about in my system, I won't worry about the end of anything.
I don't anyway...just, it seemed like a good opportunity to justify another Dove chocolate.

| Don't be concerned, Abe. As an old buddy from North Carolina used to say, "I'd have to git feelin' better'n this 'fore I could die."
Jackie had a doctor's appointment yesterday and it turned out to be a lengthy conference all about me. I'm not certain she told me everything that was said but from what she did have to say it's obvious the doc thinks I've gone around the bend on a one-way street. That's the trouble with doctors, they think they're so smart. And this is the guy who took a strong pain killer for the first time and then blacked out while riding his motorcycle!

you have just given the earth 4 billion years to live. What can you do about little ol me? A measley 50 more years would be appreciated, however, only if you can include good health with that and a strong sex drive.

I'm sorry Ahad, Carl Sagan is close but not quite right on this.
If you read my previous post ...
I have it on good authority from the last Time Lord that the earth doesnt' go until the year 5.5/Apple/26, or in other words, the year 5,000,000,000.
I guess that means we can enjoy not just a nice weekend ... but an entire two weeks vacation!
