Well, hmmm.
I dunno really.
I have seen plenty of strange things. But no cows were taking five on the interstate while I was there.
Bet you can google that. |

If you make it to Laredo let me know I'm off work for the moment as I'm going to the Laredo Medical Center on monday to see if I can get my problems sorted. In fact I brought the truck home to clear it out and when carrying something from the truck to the RV I tripped and fell face down like a bellyflop in water, 'cept it wasn't water and I nearly knocked myself out, cuts on my face and a bruised sternum to boot, so I'll be off for a while my cell-fone is 203-565-7829, btw if I don't answer, leave a message, you won't be one of the changes! |
That would be great!
We need to find an HEB and pick up some Luzianne tea and mesquite wood. Right now we are almost to Little Rock AR. Should be in the area late tomorrow morning.
I've added your number to my contacts. |

| I know that feeling. Well, almost. I can remember trying to get a 13' 9" trailer under a 13'6" bridge in Trenton, New Jersey. It just doesn't work no matter how many police you have directing traffic. I wasn't doing the driving but it was just as nerve-wracking. Then the police had to go ahead of us, after we backed out of there, to ask residents to move their cars off a one-way street so that our load could get through. Boy, did they make the streets narrow 'in the old days'.
Oh, ya, I dated drivers before hubby and I worked for the safety dept. for Swift Transportation. I hired and tried not to fire drivers. So I know pretty much what you go through. My sympathies always were with the drivers. That is why I quit my job. Or at least it is one of the reasons. Guess we have more in common than writing.

| This summer I'm working on a new novel, Broken Chain, it's a crime thriller.
Doing a read through of Huntress my new urban thriller which is due to be published in November.
Edititng Lawless Justice urban thriller which I'm currently submitting to UK agents.
Trying to finish Stone Cold, a supernatural thriller. This is one of those books that has been collecting dust for a while now.
I've had one poem and one short story selected for two different anthologies.
Wrote a new poem this month, I was inspired.
Just sent out my newsletter informing all my readers on the latest news.
Oh and I did another book review for Future Fire and did a book review for betterfiction blog.
Yesterday was a bad day. Diggory Press the UK publisher has it's day in court this August. I can't get to the UK for the case as I'm working 8hrs a day 7 days a week, I spent most of yesterday gathering emails to use in evidence and writting out my deposition. It was a stressfull day yesterday. _________________ Heads and Tales out now! http://www.lulu.com/karina-kantas |

| Brenda, I've told you that you were in the wrong part of Ohio. Unlike some states, this one is very sectionalized. Here in Northeast Ohio we have nothing in common with the Appalachia area or the farmers in the western half of the state. The Connecticut Western Reserve Territory (we're in it) is as close as you will come to Paradise. _________________ Mystery Writers of America, Private Eye Writers of America www.dickstodghill.com |

| Dick, I couldn't help smile. I keep remembering all those jokes about Cleveland. But there's more to Ohio than Cleveland as you pointed out. But Paradise? Hmmm. Isn't that a stretch? _________________ "To Beirut and Back" http://www.freewebs.com/abemarch |

Paradise, CA isn't doing too well right now. Paradise has been evacuated due to wildland fires. |

| New Zealand? Can't compare to the falls of the Cuyahoga or the new football stadium at Akron U. _________________ Mystery Writers of America, Private Eye Writers of America www.dickstodghill.com |

Heh!!!! I think almost every company driver out there has worked for Swift at some point in their driving career ... but most won't admit it!!!
I admit I worked for them for seven months. Back when SWIFT means S-sure W-wish I-i had a F-faster T-truck !!! |

Yes! I know that one! And there is a Whataburger near there too! Luzianne is just the best tea to use for sun tea!!!
When we lived in Texas it was the ONLY tea we would use to make sun tea.
But they don't sell it everywhere. Can't find it in Reno. Sooo, our family (our son and his family and my sister and her family) in Reno has put us in charge of keeping them supplied with the stuff. |

| I agree, Abe, that saying any part of Ohio is paradise is quite a stretch. Dick just doesn't know when to admit defeat. Guess we'll have to help him.
And the photos of New Zealand are wonderful. Funny, I always thought of NZ as a jungle. Must be thinking of somewhere else. See, Dick? I can admit to being wrong. Does that give you any ideas?
Karina, congratulations on your upcoming release. That's so exciting! And I hope the legal problems you're having aren't too serious, or at least that they'll be resolved to your satisfaction.
Stone Cold is a great title. Congratulations again. _________________ www.brendahill.com www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Cu6YeS9_Ro |
