| I was ploughing through some google pages and came upon a very interesting post by a friend of mine (his name is 'Javid' - bless him) going back a few years:

See, whoever said you can't make science fun? _________________ A Ahad http://www.myspace.com/aa_spaceagent

| Ahad, seems your discovery is now being used in various ways. Your name will be recorded in history. Congratulations. _________________ "To Beirut and Back" http://www.freewebs.com/abemarch |

| Boy, that 'Science stuff' is beyond my little pea brain. But it is interesting even if I don't really understand it! _________________ Zada Connaway Mother's Journals: parts 1, 2 and 3 ISBN # 1-4241-6969-0

| "Pea brain?" Zada, I'll take your "pea brain" any day over a Bush brain. Now there's a brain that must have spent time in outer space. _________________ "To Beirut and Back" http://www.freewebs.com/abemarch |

Zada, your talents are infinitely preferable over a nerd’s, believe me .
These days, the internet is buzzing with so many discoveries and inventions, some large, some not quite so noteworthy.
Many things are thought of as ‘petty’ at the time when they are found, but later on they become notable…by which time the discoverer or inventor’s great, great grandson has become a rather old man! The thing about past history is we don’t often know what all those great authors and inventors looked like. I was watching a documentary the other day on television about the Gutenberg printing press. (For anyone who didn’t know this, Johannes Gutenberg was credited with the invention of the machine that prints all our books). I was rather amused to learn that nobody actually knows what poor old Mr Gutneberg looked like when he was around. Yes, there are many statues and portraits of the great man in his home town and elsewhere today, but we don’t really have a clue as to his true appearance. (Come to think of it, I’m not sure if we have any authentic pictures of William Shakespeare either???!) _________________ A Ahad http://www.myspace.com/aa_spaceagent |

| And he's gracious, as well. I'm glad there are those who understand it all so I don't have to get a nasty headache. It's good you are aboard, Ahad. _________________ Zada Connaway Mother's Journals: parts 1, 2 and 3 ISBN # 1-4241-6969-0

| Glad to see you Ahad. Like Zada, I'm glad somebody else understands science so I don't have to. Yesterday I watched the qualifying for the Indianapolis 500 and racing today is all technology. Fire resistant suits, spotters on the radio talking to each driver so he knows what to do, all kinds of high-tech stuff on the dashboard, highly trained pit crews. I remember when a guy would climb into a race car wearing a T-shirt or dress shirt, had no help whatsoever and just drove until the race was over, he burned up the engine or was dead. I guess it's better today, yet some of the glamor is missing. _________________ Mystery Writers of America, Private Eye Writers of America www.dickstodghill.com |

| You have my vote, Ahad.
I still stress when the electricity goes off long enough to make me reprogram my VCR. _________________ Southern fiction with a madhatter twist... www.rhettdevane.com |

Hey Ahad are you left brain active? If you are I'm in awe of you, my left brain died years ago and I'm not certain how many right brain cells I've got left. Oh p'aps I should explain 'awe' When John Wayne was making 'The Greatest Story Ever Told' and at the foot of the cross he had to say, 'This man was truly the son of god!' John Houston, the director asked him to get some 'awe' into his voice. So next take the Duke did! He said, 'Awwwww this man was truly the son of god!' It's a true story! _________________ Welcome Earthlings http://fly.to/rainbow689 |
