ONE OF OUR FRIENDS IS UNDERGOING HEART SURGERY

For those of you who know or have corresponded with Alice Crooker, I thought I'd pass along that she will be undergoing triple bypass surgery this coming Thursday, and if you are a person who believes in prayer, please put her on you list for the upcoming days.

Alice has been a friend to both Dick and myself, as well as a lot of others, and has often been banned from boards for speaking her mind about what she sees as something being done wrong. I've found her to be smart, witty, very outspoken, and very caring when one or another of us have had some sickness or problems.

If you are not a praying person, please keep her in your thoughts, because I believe that positive thoughts help a lot in many situations, and I know that they can't hurt anything.

Thanks for sharing the info about Alice. My thoughts and prayers are with her. She has a wonderfully strong personality, and the PA boards were never the same after she was booted off. I wish her a speedy recovery.

I do remember Alice. She was always so warm and charming and I miss her posts very much when I visit the PA boards. I'll keep her in my thoughts and I pray for her recovery and return soon.

After surgery Alice sent an email,

"Thank God I am still alive."

I haven't heard from her for a couple of days, and am sure she needs lots of rest.

She's a great lady.

Alice is recovering at home and the worst part is her painful sternum. Otherwise she is doing well.
