They gave me a hard time and banned me from the absolute write forum for six months and told me that being a PublishAmerica author would not gain any recognition. Well, they were wrong. Not only is my book, The Power of Persuasion, on the list for Wales Book of the Year, the Welsh Academy have set up a bio for me. They have gathered the information from my web site and listed my publications, including Mr. Planemaker's Flying Machine:

Yr Academi Gymreig – The Welsh Academy is the Welsh National Literature Promotion Agency and Society of Writers. The Academi runs events, courses, competitions (including the Cardiff International Poetry Competition run with the support of Cardiff Council and offering a first prize of £5000), conferences (see details of the forthcoming Belfast Meets Wales conference here), tours by authors, lectures, international exchanges, events for schools, readings, literary performances and festivals. The Academi is also responsible for Services to Writers and now offers bursaries, critical advice and administers the annual Wales Book of the Year award.

That's great, Shelagh.

I'm like lifetime banned on absolutewrite. They have a very Nazi moderator culture there. (Probably because that woman who bought it is such a fascist)

I'd certainly advise people against Publish America, but it's hard to argue with results.

Not that some people wont....
