Brenda Hill
Brenda, who loves to help writers improve their work, met several aspiring writers as well as published ones in the bookstore she owned in Denver in the early 1980s. Previously, Brenda had been a proofreader at a large aerospace corporation, where she critiqued several writers' manuscripts. Fueled by the two experiences and the desire to write her own novels, Brenda took writing classes at the local community college.
Desperately wanting to learn as much as she could, Brenda attended writers' conferences, took classes, talked to agents and acquiring editors and then enrolled in a popular writing correspondence course as well as several online courses from New York. One summer, Brenda had the privilege of attending The University of Iowa's summer writing sessions. Always wanting to expand her skills, she accepted an invitation to join an international critiquing group.
